I try to the best of my ability to describe what I sell- sorry if I miss something as I am not a professional repairman and I do not play saxophone. As is and will require repadding/servicing/cleaning so please bid accordingly. PLEASE NOTE: This is being sold as found. A unmarked hard case is included and is in decent condition for its age. Over-all condition is excellent for a used instrument.
The key actions are all present and functional. The pads(with domed metal resonators) and corks are worn- they will need replaced. more any dents on the instrument- only a couple ping type dings. Offered here is a professional model 1938 Buescher Aristocrat Alto Saxophone made in Elkhart IN. I'd rather avoid any unpleasantness because of unmet expectations. If there is any chance that you would NOT be happy with doing your own restoration, repairs, set-up or paying for the services of someone to do this, it would probably be best to pass on this listing. Would suggest pro clean& lube for optimal performance. Remember? Cosmetically clean, pads look acceptable(except whatever the problem is with low B& B flat) and there is only some minor scuffs here and there. Hit all the notes BUT THE LOW B FLAT& B are REALLY hard to hit(but I'm not that great. Vintage'60s Buescher Aristocrat USA Alto Saxophone Sax with Case! CLEAN! NEEDS 3 PADS? CLEAN! Very clean for a used horn with minimal play wear.
